Basant Kunj Lucknow

Basant Kunj Yojana was launched by the Lucknow Development Authority as an affordable housing scheme introduced in 2018. The project is located on the Hardoi bypass road, also known as the Sitapur Hardoi highway. The project offers 1,310 units ranging from 1,076 sq ft to 5,382 sq ft and is built on 63 acres of land. It is located approximately 5 km from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and 16 km from Lucknow airport and the Agra Expressway. The scheme spans multiple sectors—H, I, J, and N—creating a structured, planned community with segregated layouts and civic infrastructure. This housing scheme is integrated with Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana urban 2.0, which helps provide subsidised houses to the economically weaker section (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG). The area is undergoing rapid development with modern utilities, parks, educational zones, and healthcare facilities being integrated into the master plan.
