Gaur Chowk, Greater Noida West

Gaur Chowk sits at the heart of Greater Noida West, commonly called Noida Extension, and forms the central intersection of the sprawling Gaur City Township. Gaur Chowk is in Sector 4, Greater Noida West, within the Gaur City Township. The chowk has grown from a residential crossing into a full-fledged mixed-use hub over the last decade, as apartment towers, malls, and office blocks have come up around it.

The defining feature of the locality is its road network. Gaur Chowk in Noida Extension is a major residential and commercial hub, located at the heart of Greater Noida West, connecting key areas via 130-meter-wide roads linking NH-24, FNG Expressway, and the Delhi–Meerut Expressway. This width of carriageway is unusual for a residential micro-market and has helped the area avoid the chronic congestion seen in older parts of Noida Extension.

Retail and entertainment infrastructure here is already mature. The area is known for prominent developments like Gaur City Centre, Gaur City Mall, and Gaur World Smart Street, offering a mix of retail, office, and entertainment spaces. A large share of the housing stock nearby is Gaur Group-developed, but M3M and other national developers are now entering the corridor to tap the same demand base.

Going forward, civic works are set to reduce travel friction further. A 700-meter six-lane underpass and a proposed metro station are set to boost connectivity. Combined with its position between Noida and Greater Noida proper, Gaur Chowk is positioning itself as a genuine second CBD for the west corridor rather than a purely residential dormitory.
